RE-POST - CREATIVE INSPIRATION WANTED!

Hi Girlfriends,

Here's another competition for you the enter and become part of my 2011 Girls Night In Blog. So many of you are creative is so many ways. Thus far I have been sharing thoughts, stories and videos I've found on the web. I like to give my blog a more personal touch. So I've decided to hold some creative competitions. 

After Girls Night In I am hoping to pull down the blog and reformat the blog to help us Fight Like Girls all year round. 

The is a $5 entry flat fee. With 100% of the entry fee going to the Australian Cancer Foundation, the for your entry fee is tax deductible.  There are 4 different categories - with prizes that may be awarded up to 3 different age groups in each category. You can enter just one category or all 4 categories for $5. However, you can only enter each category once. 

Entries can either be emailed to Competition Entries, entries will only become valid once the $5 entry fee is paid. The entry fee made be paid via cash, cheque or money order (please make cheque or money order out to the Australian Cancer Foundation), through the secure donation Girls Night In Website (Click on the blue button donation on the right) or use the Competition Entries email address to make other arrangements. If possible it is easer for us if you can pay via the Cancer Council website.       

Prize Pack includes:-

• a small gift
• a pink band if your not here on the night
• Publication on the blog
• A link to any sites that sell work 
• A business logo on the blog if you have one.  

All creative works must use themes linked to the theme of 

'Girls Night In'!

The White Page Challenge:

Fill a A4 (one side only) creatively. So if your making a card it needs to be sized according and the paper don't have to a physical page (you can email it) or white in actual colour. (One entry only)

The Writing Comp.

• Write in any gene or style you wish. (e.g. Short Story, poetry, or inspirational article. 
• Entries must typed and double spaced or if written by hand please print.
• No word limit or no of lines limits  
• Submit up to 3 A4 pages (one-side)
• Works can either use up to three pages or  entries can be made up of separate works
• Please put each piece of writing on a new page. (e.g. 1 two paged poem and 1 one page story; or three poems, one poem per page; or a three page short story.)
• Do not put you name on the page.
• If emailing entry please use word or a pdf format.

Submit up to 5 photos of creative work (e.g. Artwork, Craft, Cake decorating) Don't forget must be related to themes around Girls Night In.

Creative video

Have a look at some of the videos on the blog or utube and see what you can create. If its good enough we might play it on the night. 

All video entries must be emailed or put on Utube and a link for us to view.
