Debbie's Week Rap-Up!

G'day girls!

We its been a busy week at my desk. First of all I must say thank you to the editorial team of the client newsletter of ALARA. The ad looks great guys! I've also been busy getting promotional stuff ready to go to the ALARA office. On Tuesday Aimee and I got together to discuss how things were going. Printed some promotional material to use on the night and did some initial planing on the program,

In the process of getting every things ready to go to ALARA I designed flyers and information leaflets these are available in PDF format as are invitations if you want any to send to friends and family. We launched a side fundraiser Sale of Wristbands there are two types of wristbands on sale. Find A Cure and Fight Like A Girl both styles are $3 with a $1 from each sale going to the Queensland Cancer Council. However, if your coming along on the night part of you gift pack includes a hot pink wristband. Each band will be no. we have five $20 gift vouches for five luck girls who win the luck door prizes.

We are still waiting to hear which hospital preformed the first pink glove dance. The prize is sitting on my desk. The blog has lots of information about the Girls Night In Cancer Council Campaign ; how the funds we raise will be spent; early detection programs; how to do self-exam breast examinations; support services; how other girls are raising money; comic videos; fellows trying to dance and of course information on and links to our sponsors.

I am also getting lots of questions on what type of pre-loved fashion items you can bring along to swap or sell on the night. I have posted ideas on the blog and will repost these from time to time. There's also flyers available I can email to you. We're also looking for coat hangers to display clothing on. As you will appreciated Aimee and I will be very busy on the night so if you can drop off your donations before hand that would be warmly welcomed.   

I will be following up more potential sponsors next week and kept you posted as to what's on offer on the night! Don't forget tickets go on sale 1st October and there's prizes to win along the way.
